Coalition to Stop Internet Gambling to Announce Members on Press Conference Call
Washington, D.C.— The Coalition to Stop Internet Gambling (CSIG) on Wednesday will announce that thirty-nine organizations — which collectively represent an estimated one million activists — are joining the fight to restore the long-standing ban on Internet gambling. The news comes as debates over Internet gambling loom in Congress and in state legislatures throughout the country.
They represent a broad-based coalition that has come together to confront the many and varied threats posed by legalized Internet gambling. Their planned activities include educating policymakers and spreading the word through social media.
