California Senate Online Poker Bill Dead for 2014

California State Senator Lou Correa has withdrawn his online poker bill from consideration for the 2014 legislative session, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times. Senator Correa is chairman of the Senate Governmental Organization Committee. This committee overseas all bills related to gambling before referring them to the full senate floor.

Bill to legalize Internet poker in California dropped for 2014

One of two bills that would legalize Internet gambling in California was shelved for the year Wednesday by Democratic state Sen. Lou Correa of Santa Ana, who said there was not enough time left in the legislative session to refine it for a vote.
